Ireland’s Startup Entrepreneur Programme (STEP) is designed for non-EU entrepreneurs who wish to establish an innovative and scalable business in Ireland. STEP allows entrepreneurs to launch high-potential startups in Ireland, particularly in sectors such as technology, fintech, AI, and innovation-driven industries.
Key Requirements
- Minimum €50,000 investment funds
- Innovative and scalable business idea
- Potential to create 10 jobs in Ireland
- Potential to generate €1 million turnover within 3–4 years
- Detailed business plan
- Clean criminal record
Visa Duration & Details
Duration: Initial residence permission is granted for 2 years, followed by a renewal of 3 years.
Investment: Minimum €50,000 required for a single founder. Higher investment may be required for multiple founders.
Family Inclusion: Spouse and dependent children can relocate and reside in Ireland with the main applicant.
