L1A USA Visa

The L1A visa is a type of non-immigrant visa that allows multinational companies to transfer certain employees, typically managers or executives, from a foreign office to a U.S. office. Here is some important information about the L1A visa

  • To be eligible for an L1A visa, you must be an executive or manager employed by a multinational company with offices both abroad and in the United States.
  • L1A Intracompany Transferee Executive: For executives who manage the organization's operations or a major component of it in the U.S.
  • L1A Intracompany Transferee Manager: For managers who supervise employees or a significant function within the organization in the U.S
  • The U.S. and foreign entities must have a qualifying relationship, typically as a parent company, subsidiary, affiliate, or branch office

L1A visa holders can bring their spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 to the U.S. on L2 visas. Spouses on L2 visas may also apply for work authorization.
